after working on my infographic for God knows how long, i slowly started to hate it. so i think for now, i'm gonna push that aside and start on a new project which will be the household item proj. for that proj i'll be taking a fork and making its function to be a hairbrush instead. as for the infographic, i'm thinking of throwing out my current one and starting another from scratch after taking a little breather from it.

type set book

right now i'm using Gotham and Requiem but i'm not sure if i'll stick with requiem for the text face.. maybe something thats a little less...tall? if that makes any sense hahaha.

any suggestions?

hopefully i am going in the right direction. i'm going for a really clean minimal look for this project, focusing mainly on just setting the type correctly.

finished infographic...for now

finished infographic for now...
the colors are actually darker, especially the background purple but when it uploaded, all the colors got a lot lighter o.o

i'm considering changing my color palette but i'm not sure what to change it to.. maybe something a little more neutral and earthy?

also i feel like the neck area is looking kinda empty. i was considering taking the stats from inside the body and somehow arranging them in the neck area instead.
suggestions please!

i cannot believe how long the text in the background is taking. i literally sat down for over 12 hours straight working on the outside text alone and i'm still not done. after i finish setting the background text, i'm planning to darken the text in the area right around the head so it looks more its fading as it comes closer the the head. i also have to brush up the headline text as well.

for my text setting project, i am doing a series of short stories with some poetry from various authors. i will be posting those soon.
